To The Stars

A direct astronomy view, somewhat made up. The amount there is to understand in a small part of sky is astounding What we cannot see, the huge distances. You cannot help but wonder. That fascination does drive me; There is always more to learn. Strangely it wasn’t an easy painting to do. It was a very random design where I left it for months, until I had a brainwave and produced what you see. Original painting is oil on canvas 49cm x 75cm
